A CAR RIGHT WHEN YOU NEED IT
- By:Alison White
The competitions which offer chances to win grand prices are really to appreciate at their highest value when you hear the story of a lucky winner. Since many people who apply for these contests desperately need the price, there’s a great chance to see a more than satisfied winning fellow.
Recently the Win a Hyundai has been launched in a newspaper and destiny made Vicky Smith, a plain 19-year old hairdresser from Upper Stratton, the fortunate winner. She works in the Rootz hair salon located in Woodshaw Mead, Wootton Bassett. Her prise, consisting in a brand-new Hyundai Amica shore means a lot of cash- ₤6,995 to be more precise. She is the first person from Swindon to enjoy a car registered this year.
The award comes in the best moment for young Vicky, because her old car, an M-Reg Nissan Micra had become so wrecked that preparing it for a simple trip to work had become an awesome task. Because of the appalling condition of her ancient car, Vicky had made a habit from making her mother ringing her friend to give her a lift and take her to work this way.
Starting with this day though, Vicky will be the one to give her friends a lift on various occasions. The young winner claimed she felt like in heaven when she heard the fresh news, yet she never forgot that, there is one she should thank above all for this most pleasant event: her 71-year old grandfather, George Coward, resident of the same town as she, who saw the article about the competition in the newspaper. The contest was launched in association with Pebley Beach Showroom in Eldene. The generous granddad entered the competition with his granddaughter’s name, he intended of winning her this cherished prise, aware of the fact that he had back then a chance as slight as the others to do it.
Although not well familiarised with the world of Internet, old George got Vicky’s Auntie, Amanda McCarthy to help download and complete the registration form. George is just as pleased with the present as his granddaughter. The new car is a five door hatchback with intriguing features such as a secret space under the passenger seat, ABS, electronic brake force distribution, a six-speaker RDS stereo with CD player, alloy wheels and air conditioning system.
This vehicle will not give only the possessor and her friends rides, but also Vicky’s little cousins, Joshua, aged ten and Mitchell, aged two. They are the main “new passengers “she has thought of and will be taken at the Blooms garden with t.
Mr. Richmond from Portland Avenue, Okus, Nikki Whitaker of Highworth and David Law of Merton are the ones awarded with a Hyundai for a weekend prise in the competition.
